The corporate fence project was an initiative by the society to celebrate endangered animal species. It was launched by GWS in 2003 with the aim of educating and creating awareness among the general public on the plight of rare, vulnerable and threatened animal species in the bush meat trade in Ghana as well as, raise funds to sustain our conservation activities. Much as the impact has been enormous, raising many inquiries and request for further information and reference materials on endangered has been encouraging. Through partnership with corporate institutions, the fence provide organisations and businesses the opportunity to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities by showing commitment towards wildlife conservation in Ghana whiles projecting their projects, services and corporate image.
The corporate fence project comes with a yearly subscription of Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 5,000.00). The subscription includes the cost of re-branding and maintaining a 1.5m billboard throughout the subscription period, research to update species profile, development of art work, maintenance and contribution to GWS conservation education fund for rural communities and schools.
